Run On — Privacy Policy

Run On is an offline‑first running trainer. We do not collect, share, or sell personal data.

Summary

• No account. No cloud. Your run history, schedules, and completions are stored locally on your device.
• No analytics / ads SDKs. The app does not include third‑party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
• No data leaves your device. We do not operate servers for this app.

Data We Process

Run On processes the following data on your device only to provide core features:

• Run progress & completion status (e.g., which session you did and when).
• Program schedules computed on‑device.
• Settings and preferences (e.g., theme choices, accessibility options).

This data is not transmitted to us.

Permissions

Depending on your device and settings, the app may request the following Android permissions:

• WAKE_LOCK / FOREGROUND_SERVICE — keep timers/coaching running during a session.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS (optional) — only if you enable notifications.
• Exact alarms — not requested in current releases. If a future version requires precise alarms, we will update this policy and the Play Console Data safety disclosure before release.

Children’s Privacy

Run On is designed for general audiences and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Third Parties

Run On does not send your data to third parties. The app may use standard Android system components (e.g., text‑to‑speech engines installed on your device). Any such components operate under the control of your device OS and vendors, not us.

Changes

If we make material changes (for example, adding analytics), we will update this policy and the Data safety section before releasing the update.
